Bear Lake

The kids and I went to Bear Lake to visit Gramps and to spend time with my family. Every year when Granny comes to visit we usually go up for a week or so. It's a nice little get away to spend time with the fam. We played the Memory Game a ton and several card games.

Karson's absolute favorite thing to do is farm work. He enjoyed every minute of helping Gramps on the farm (even though he was probably in the way and wore Gramps out with all the questions). He thought he was such a big kid in a small town. He would walk or ride his tractor back and forth to see Gramps and stop to talk to everyone he saw on the way. It made me nervous but he told me he was fine because he had lots of friends around there.

Kaydance kept busy following Karson around trying to do everything he did (including skateboarding). Trying to get her to sleep was a NIGHTMARE but we made it.

The Farmers
The Princess on the Farm. "Two Tooth" as Gramps would call her.

My Handsome little farm Boy

Kaydance wasn't sure about the wheeler. She loves the animals but isn't sure about the machines.

This is Karson's tunnel through the lilac bushes. He would ride through it on the skateboard.

She thought she was so funny smashing her face up against the screen.

Of course you can't forget the tractor on the farm. Kaydance would hold onto Karson's arm and off they went!

Kaydance helped me make Brownies. She really enjoyed throwing the chocolate chips in.

I don't know why he decided they needed to wear this attractive eye protection but they wore it most of the day while they were working around the yard.

Kaydance was having a hard time keeping hers in place! I don't think she could see out most of the time.

We rented this lovely little wagon and boy was it a workout! We only had it for an hour but that is really all we needed. Even the slightest incline kicked our butts. We all wanted to do it again the next day though.

Such a fun little trip! Of course it's nice to come home but Karson is ready to go again. He's got more farm work to do and needs to take his new wheelbarrow up.
