sUmMeR FuN!!

Yesterday I took the kids and their cousin Michigan to the Gateway to run through the fountains. It was so funny to watch them. I probably looked like some crazy when I was sitting there laughing to myself but I couln't help it.

Karson was the only who would even get wet at first. He was loving it. He had to come back every few seconds to wipe his eyes though. And don't you just love his tattoo's? Steve loaded them on Karson and Kaydance while I was at work.
This is the most Kaydance got wet. She went out there once when the water wasn't even going. Silly girl!

They hurried to drink the water so they'd have this water bottle to play with. It was seriously the funniest thing. They put the bottle over a fountain and then it would fly up. The bottle is what finally got Michigan to get in the water.

Almost everytime Michigan would try to put the bottle on he would get water straight to his face or the bottle would come back up and hit him. So funny! He would laugh and then run off.

Notice the bottle in the air. It missed him this time!
Just when he got the bottle on and had time to stand back the water was done. Dang it!

We had a lot of fun at the fountains. The kids were so good. Thanks Michigan for coming with us. We'll have to do it again soon.

5 ALREADY?!?

My cute little Karson turned 5 on the 23rd. He is so big now and will soon start Kindergarten. How sad!

This little boy loves to be in charge and make the plans. He always has a better idea and is bossy at times but, we still love him. He is such a good big brother. If it were up to him we'd have 2 more babies! Ha Ha That is one thing he is not in charge of!! I love you Karson! Thanks for keeping me in line! Love, Mom

Such a cute little babe!

Karson got this Awesome Iron Man mask. He loves it!
Along with some books, legos, clothes and a wheelbarrow that his dad put together just last night. He is so excited to take it to Bear Lake to help with the work.

Happy Birthday Karson! We love you so much! We're excited to watch you grow over the next year and make many more memories.

The Great Outdoors

I love love love to go to the mountains in the summertime. It's so quiet and relaxing (well it was before kids that is). We went up to the Spruces last Sunday.

I didn't get too many pictures before my camera died. I'm looking forward to our camping trip. Relax and enjoy the great outdoors!

My Mom and I

I really like this picture of us. This was in June when we went to Las Vegas for her friends wedding and to pick up Granny. It was really a lot of fun. I think with my bangs we look so much alike. However I don't think I love the bangs on me.

Thanks Mom for taking me along. Love ya!

Bear Lake

The kids and I went to Bear Lake to visit Gramps and to spend time with my family. Every year when Granny comes to visit we usually go up for a week or so. It's a nice little get away to spend time with the fam. We played the Memory Game a ton and several card games.

Karson's absolute favorite thing to do is farm work. He enjoyed every minute of helping Gramps on the farm (even though he was probably in the way and wore Gramps out with all the questions). He thought he was such a big kid in a small town. He would walk or ride his tractor back and forth to see Gramps and stop to talk to everyone he saw on the way. It made me nervous but he told me he was fine because he had lots of friends around there.

Kaydance kept busy following Karson around trying to do everything he did (including skateboarding). Trying to get her to sleep was a NIGHTMARE but we made it.

The Farmers
The Princess on the Farm. "Two Tooth" as Gramps would call her.

My Handsome little farm Boy

Kaydance wasn't sure about the wheeler. She loves the animals but isn't sure about the machines.

This is Karson's tunnel through the lilac bushes. He would ride through it on the skateboard.

She thought she was so funny smashing her face up against the screen.

Of course you can't forget the tractor on the farm. Kaydance would hold onto Karson's arm and off they went!

Kaydance helped me make Brownies. She really enjoyed throwing the chocolate chips in.

I don't know why he decided they needed to wear this attractive eye protection but they wore it most of the day while they were working around the yard.

Kaydance was having a hard time keeping hers in place! I don't think she could see out most of the time.

We rented this lovely little wagon and boy was it a workout! We only had it for an hour but that is really all we needed. Even the slightest incline kicked our butts. We all wanted to do it again the next day though.

Such a fun little trip! Of course it's nice to come home but Karson is ready to go again. He's got more farm work to do and needs to take his new wheelbarrow up.

TOGA TOGA!!

Finally we had the Toga party that has been talked about since the first one we had in 2007. Every year we say we're going to do it and then our summer gets crazy busy so we postpone it to the next year. I love themed parties! I think it is so much fun to step out of the norm and do something a little different. WARNING: There is an overload of pictures.

4th of July Weekend

I've put this off for too long! We had a great 4th of July weekend. We started Saturday with swimming and ended the day at Sugarhouse Park for fireworks.

Waiting.. Waiting.. Waiting..
(Good place for people watching. There are some FrEaKs!!)

Sunday we did a few things around the house and headed over to my Mom's for a BBQ and some more fireworks.

Hope you all had a fun 4th. We love the fireworks and it's always fun to get together with family and friends.
